- 1.5 to 2 tbsps toasted sesame seeds (slightly crushed - see instructions below)
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1.5 to 2 tbsp low sodium tamari (wheat free or regular)
- 1 medium scallion chopped fine
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar (non flavored)
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 10 to 12 bamboo skewers
- Apricot Pomegranate Dipping Sauce
- 3-4 dried apricots (soaked in water at room temperature overnight)
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup pure pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup of water (this is not the water used to soak the apricots!)
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp of ginger sliced thin
- 1/4 to 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 to 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
